May I present one of my latest works Anti Social ... in my usual acrylic base, with collage embellishment and artist drawing pens to fill in the illustrative parts. This quirky hand painted original, mixed media piece measures 7 x 10 inches, and would make a great artsy gift for a friend or loved one ..... or why not just treat yourself!

New video! About wearable art ....
I never use proper fabric paint on my clothes. I just use acrylic paint, which sticks like glue to T shirts, denim etc. Here's a quick video about how I 'refresh' by painted clothing every couple of months.

I have added a new video to my Youtube channel, about how I mount some of my artworks before sending them out. Usually when you buy from me, off my website, Etsy shop, etc, you get just the artwork, but sometimes artworks which turn out particularly successful, I mount before sending out, so buyers can slip the artwork straight into a standard sized frame. This video shows you a few pieces of my work which are ready framed.
I know I'm massively late with this - see my last post, but I do still have several photos from this year's Street Art Festival, which is hosted by Surface Gallery, to share with you. As usual I entered some pieces, but was not lucky enough to sell any this time. As usual there was a plethora of fantastical artworks and graffiti to feat your eyes on. I love this particular exhibition, because as it is sort of 'alternative' my work slips straight in. Anyway, I hope you enjoy looking at these wonderful artworks. The Street Art Festival is held every Summer and is one not to miss, if you can help it.
It's been quite a few months since I posted here .... I just simply have not had the chance. If I can refer you back to my post in November "Caring For The Elderly" which discussed how over time I have had to put in more and more care for my Mum, who was dx with Alzeimers / Vascular Dementia. Well, to cut a long story short, she sadly passed away in July. She was 88 years old and very frail, in a way it was a blessing for her. Although expected, at some point, it was still incredibly sad for all of us. What has been really weird, is coming to terms with the guilt (of having so much more time to devote to myself / ourselves.) It had become so much a part of daily life, that when you get so much extra time, and so much less work to do, it takes a little time to get used to that. Hopefully I will be able to devote a little more time to my blog now.
